đ Microsoft has AI processors coming in hot

Weâre double dipping on Microsoft today. You canât stop us.
This one guest features AMD, whose shares rose on a report theyâre partnering with Microsoft on some fancy AI processors.
Why is this big? Two reasons.
One, up until now, only Amazon and Google had their own AI chips. These processors are the Birkin Bags of compute, and they ainât cheap.
Two, and more importantly, they need to make their own chips. Running GPT-4 is EXPENSIVE. Buying computing power from Nvidia doesnât work out if youâre at Microsoftâs scale. They can save big-time if they make their own chips.
AndâŠthatâs where AMD comes in. Theyâll help with the manufacturing side.
Bullish? AMD and Microsoft. Bearish? Nvidia. But theyâll be just fine.
đ Biden and Harris meet with AI leaders (except you, Meta)
Artificial Intelligence is one of the most powerful tools of our time, but to seize its opportunities, we must first mitigate its risks.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a few words for the AI CEOs.
So, the CEOs of the United States met with the CEOs of OpenAI, Anthropic, Alphabet, and Microsoft.
The focus?
Make sure AI makes our lives better withoutâŠending all humanity.
The meeting notes?
âWhat youâre doing has enormous potential and enormous danger.â
Thatâs straight from Bidenâs mouth. Kamala had a bit more nuanced take
âThe private sector has an ethical, moral, and legal responsibility to ensure the safety and security of their products.â
Look, these words surprise nobody.
But letâs talk about the elephant in the room.
They didnât invite META???
Zuckerburg must be furiously pacing in the Metaverse.
Microsoft? Sure. Alphabet? Absolutely. OpenAI? Youâve gotta. The fact Meta missed out but Anthropic got the RSVP meansâŠMeta has some catching up to do with AI.
