🤯 Nvidia is taking baby steps to an AI service

One of the biggest WTFs of the AI rise is why Nvidia hasn’t launched their own generative AI services yet.

They own all the hardware…so...why not?

Now, they’ve released a new text-to-video model powered by Stable Diffusion that, again, has us going WTF.

Because it’s that good.

Every video above is AI-generated. All from simple prompts.

Plus, they built this on Stable Diffusion. That's the best open-source AI model for media generation.

So…Nvidia AI cloud when?

😬Even Google employees don’t like Bard

ā€œBard is worse than useless; please do not launchā€.

It reads like a tweet from an angry casual, but it’s a comment from a Google employee.

A report from Bloomberg shows that even Google employees aren’t fans of Bard. Some employees noted that its advice on flying a plane or scuba diving could result in death.

Others called it a ā€œpathological liarā€ and ā€œcringe-worthy.ā€

And then Google launched it anyway.

The dirty secret? There's a growing sentiment inside Google that they sacrificed quality with Bard. They felt they had to launch quicker and avoid losing market share to Microsoft.

A rushed launch to an inferior product is even worse. Now, they appear to be throwing ethics out the window.

Microsoft is salivating at the opportunity.

šŸ‘€ Snapchat has a hot new AI assistant

If you’re looking for a less mainstream AI assistant than Google or Microsoft, Snap has the solution.

Their ā€œMy AIā€ tool is now available to all users.

It does all the standard text AI stuff we’ve come to expect from ChatGPT.

It’s also pitched as a creative tool, and has some fun features. In the demo, the user took a photo of a tomato plant, and My AI responded with a photo of Gazpacho soup.

Worried about abuse? Snap says 99.5% of user interaction with the AI hasn’t broken any rules.

Still, the rollout is rocky. ā€œMy AIā€ sent questionable responses to underage users.

We still think it’s worth a shot.
