🤖 Salesforce adds ChatGPT to whatever its software does
PLUS: Let an AI tutor you and learn quicker
Guess which three big tech companies are in today’s AI news?
Bet you can.

🚀 Poor Salesforce feels left out, adds ChatGPT too

Remember yesterday, when Slack announced a ChatGPT bot?
Slack’s owner, Salesforce, also snagged a ChatGPT contract.
They can take all that sweet, sweet customer data and act on it.
To be clear, they’re no stranger to AI. Their Einstein AI serves up some useful features to Salesforce customers. Stuff like marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) recommendations.
What does EinsteinGPT do?
Think intro recommendations. Automatically generated knowledge base articles. Instant marketing campaign suggestions and auto-drafted emails.
The stuff of dreams for corporate America.
Not satisfied enough? They’re also launching a $250mm fund investing in generative AI.
One thing's clear. Big tech is all-in on generative AI.
🤯 Human commands → real-time robot actions

Billions. Of. Parameters. Source: Google
Google’s got a plan to turn prompts into real-life robot actions.
Meet PaLM-E. A 562 billion parameter Visual Language Model that blends language with real-life vision for robots.
The end result? An actual robot following instructions.
If you ask it to bring you chips from the snacks drawer, it doesn’t need to know what the room looks like beforehand. It’ll process the space, live, and figure out a plan to get you those chips.
It can even REACT TO CHANGES. If you move the chips, it’ll adapt, pivot, and grab ‘em anyways.
It’s not clear which is cooler - the real-time processing of a space, or translating a command into a plan of action.
Either way, we’re on the couch, waiting for this to come to our home so it can grab the chips.
🤓 Let AI tutor you and learn quicker

Question: How do you solve AI’s problem of making stuff up that isn’t true?
Answer: Give it billions of flash cards from students who don’t want to lie.
Quizlet is the latest big tech company to announce some new AI additions to their products.
Now, they did ChatGPT before it was cool. They’ve been working with OpenAI since 2020, and already have a few AI tools.
This time, though, they’ve got the help of ChatGPT to provide a virtual tutor.
Like a personal AI teacher.
They’ll quiz you (using the flash cards as a knowledge base) and guide you on your learning journey using the power of AI.
At this point, we’ve lost count of the big tech companies announcing new AI products.
The shorter list is who HASN’T.

ChatGPT fact-checker. FactGPT?
Chatbots keep hallucinating answers, even when you train them on your own data.
That’s why we built a fact-checker in our `ask-my-book` chat API.

Give ChatGPT access to EVERYTHING.
Last weekend, @florian_jue and I built Limitless.
We gave ChatGPT access to everything you've seen or heard by 'hacking' @RewindAI.
The result is a powerful assistant that can autocomplete based on any meeting, email, or video you've seen.

AI is getting SMART.
New @GoogleAI paper: How do language models do in-context learning? arxiv.org/abs/2303.03846
Large language models (GPT-3.5, PaLM) can follow in-context exemplars, even if the labels are flipped or semantically unrelated. This ability wasn’t present in small language models.
